Vista Toastmasters exists to help our members become better speakers and leaders, in a supportive and friendly environment. Guests attend free and may visit as often as they would like before joining.
Members give prepared speeches at their own pace, usually lasting five to seven minutes (most members choose to give one speech every 4 to 8 weeks). Each assignment meets general speaking objectives specified by the speaking manual they are given upon joining. Speech topics are always the choice of each member. In addition to prepared speeches, members also have the opportunity to give short impromptu speeches and can take on various leadership roles at our weekly meetings as well as within our club, area, division and district.
Join our Toastmasters club every Thursday night from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Orange County Public Library Southwest Branch at Dr. Phillips located at 7255 Della Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. Please arrive by 6:45 PM when possible so that you can sign a guest card.
Requested attire for members and guests is business, business casual, or smart casual.
For more information, please email President Stephanie Swyers at stephanie.swyers@gmail.com.
